We have worked with Liverpool John Moores University on the phased refurbishment and improvements to various campuses throughout Liverpool. In addition to the DDA improvements and works at IM Marsh (both of which are included separately) our experience includes:
- Byrom Street Campus – we have assisted in several cost appraisals to assess the feasibility of various improvements to this large existing facility. Projects under consideration have included improvements to corridors and circulation, lecture theatres, and other teaching and social areas.
- Avril Robarts Learning Resource Centre – we have worked on several phases of work at this City Centre Learning Resource Centre. The projects have included improvements and reconfiguration to provide 24/7 access, new cafe and social area, improved ground floor facilities, and other general improvements (£1m)
- Acquinas Building, Liverpool – improvements to archiving facilities, including storage for books, equipment, and audio archiving and retrieval facilities (£0.3m)
- Whole Life Costing - we worked in Partnership with the University in the development of a systematic approach to Whole Life Costing, that can be adopted for their Estate.
